1/2 tsp olive oil 1/2 c onions -- chopped 1 c ketchup 1/3 c brown sugar -- packed 1/4 c water 2 tbsps white vinegar 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp dry mustard 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp chili powder 8 ozs sauerkraut, canned -- drained 2 c turkey light meat, skinless -- cooked and cubed 8 whole hamburger buns In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until tender. Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, water, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili powder, and paprika. Bring to a boil. Add sauerkraut. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes. Add turkey. Simmer, uncovered, until turkey is heated through and sauce has thickened. |
