2 pounds Stew beef -- 1" cubes 5 Carrots -- 1" pieces 1 large Onion -- cut in chunks 3 Celery stalks -- sliced 1 can Tomatoes -- large 1/2 cup Quick cooking tapioca 1 Clove; whole -- or OR 1/2 t. ground clove Salt Pepper Trim all fat from meat. Put all ingredients in crockpot. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on low for 12 hours. |
